David Loyd Obituary
A native of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mr. Loyd lived in Montgomery, AL from 1982 until 1998 and was a 1992 graduate of Jefferson Davis High School. He had lived in the west Georgia area for the past 25 years, enjoyed fishing, and was employed as a metal sub-framer.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Loyd of Newnan; daughters, Dessa and Andrew Owens of Mobile, AL and Chalya Loyd of Illinois; granddaughter, Teagan Drew Owens; his parents, Sharon and David Loyd of Franklin; sister, Amber and Josh Bolan of LaGrange; brother, Jason and Devin Loyd of Prattville, AL and James Loyd of Washington; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Neil Awbrey and Pastor T J Boyd will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service.
