It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David J. Luciano on April 12, 2025 at the age of 58.
David was born on February 1, 1967 to Joe and Kay Luciano in Newark, New York and was one of five children. Throughout his life, he was a man of many interests and talents, spending much of his time enjoying music, soccer, photography, woodworking, motors, cycling, and many other creative pursuits. More recently he found joy in watching Formula 1 racing and working with resin, the latter of which garnered him a loyal following to his online shop where he sold custom resin diamond pens.
Growing up a big soccer player and fan, he also found great joy in coaching. For many years he coached girls' soccer, both at the club level and at the high school level, and in doing so imparted invaluable skills and lessons to young players, giving them the confidence to excel on and off the soccer pitch. His impact on the players he coached can never be overstated.
To say that he cared deeply for nature and animals, however, would be an understatement. From dogs to cats to bunnies to birds, David loved interacting with animals of all shapes and sizes. It speaks volumes about his nature, that animals were always drawn to him and never hesitated to approach him. He will not only be missed by his family and friends, but by the earth and all of the creatures on it.
He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Luciano, who passed away on December 18, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Olga Irizarry; son, Marcelo Luciano; stepdaughter, Rayza Santiago (John Grant); granddaughter, Noelle Grant; mother, Kay Luciano; siblings, Julia Luciano Mills (Dan Fratangelo), Joseph (Shirley) Luciano, Timothy (Cristi) Luciano and Michelle (Kurt) McNiece; beloved nieces and nephews and their children.
David's passing comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved and cared for him deeply. The entire family appreciates your support during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of David´s passing. I´ve had the great fortune of working with David over the past six months. His brilliance in the world of e-commerce was absolutely amazing but beyond this was his personality and kind heart. I will miss his sense of humour and willingness to always help. He will be greatly missed. Sending prayers of comfort and strength.
