Dansville- David Paul Marble Sr., age 85, passed away early Wednesday morning September 3, 2025, at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.

He was born in Dansville on October 1, 1939, a son of the late Kenneth and Marguerite (Graham) Marble. He was predeceased by his estranged wife Judy Barnhart Marble, siblings, Arlene Coombs, Sandra Holland and Kenneth and Robert Marble.

David was a United States Army Veteran, and a proud member of the Fawcett Post 1582 of the American Legion in Canaseraga NY. He was a security officer for SUNY Alfred State College. In his free time, he loved to go hunting and fishing.

He is survived four daughters Nicole (Loren) Kershner, Diana Marble-Middaugh, Michelle (Joshua Canfield) Burley, and Gen (Rob) DeMun, two sons, David (Bonnie) Marble, and Vernon (Sharon) Marble, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held later at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville, NY 14437. Online memorials may be made at HindleFuneralHome.com.
