David is survived by his parents Gaston E. and Glenda K. McCall, Lake City, FL one son Caleb Gilley (Lauren) Clover, SC, two sisters Wendy Long (Billy) and Angela Trollinger (Robert) both of Lake City, FL. one grandchild Paxon James Gilley. One niece Brittany Moss (Zackary) Lake City, FL, and three nephews James "Jimmy" Johnston (Stephany); and Brock Friar (Jessie) both of Lake City, FL, and Bryce Friar, Jacksonville, FL.
A memorial service for David will be Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating at Christ Central Church. A Visitation with the family will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Lake City, FL. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3596 S. US Hwy 441, Lake City, FL. 32025, 386-752-1954. I knew David since he was known as DJ Quest. I talked to him at work not too long before this and we chatted about the laptop I sold him for his musical interest. And I told him he needed anything I was always around. He had a big heart, when his car broke down a few months back, he was surprised I picked him up, took him to work, and then took him to pick his car up.
Bu David was the kind of person that was so nice, he always made you feel good.
I am so deeply sorry and sad about his passing. I just found out after trying to call him about some new music software I wanted to give him.
I will miss him a lot.
