David M. McDonald passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the McCarthy Care Center in East Sandwich on July 15th. He was 62. Raised in Medford, David was the son of the late Robert and Harriet (Dini) McDonald.

David was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. A graduate of UMass Boston, he worked as a software engineer. After beginning his career while living in Medford, he spent the last 25 years of his life in East Falmouth, where his nurturing spirit created a home filled with love and laughter. He was the most loving and dedicated father. His greatest joy was his daughters. David was a lifelong lover of boating and adventure with his family and closest friends.

The devoted father of Jillian McDonald and Hannah McDonald, both of Falmouth, he was a dear brother to Robert McDonald, Lisa McDonald, Christine McDonald, and Sean McDonald and his wife Lisa. David is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, July 22 from 4 â?? 8 PM and again on Wednesday, July 23 at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
