David Wayne McGrath, age 56, of Fowlerville, Michigan passed away Monday morning, December 2, 2024, at University of Michigan Hospital. He was born December 24, 1967, in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the son of the late Leonard and Pearl McGrath.
Dave, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by compassion, loyalty, and his love for his family. His passing has left a void in the hearts of those whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Dave is survived and missed by his loving wife Tracy of 22 years; and his children, Jason (Rhonda), Jennifer, Alicia, Jessica (Sean), David (Hiliary), Austin (Sara), Logan. Forever cherished and remembered by his twelve grandchildren, Jason, Mikayla, Serenity, Jaxson, Anabelle, Sean, Aubrey, Casey, Gabriella, Elliana, Clint, and Abigail, and his 4 legged babies, Columbus, Khloe, Scarlette, Bandit, and Storm. Siblings and their families; Debbie, Linda & John, Diana, Paula & DJ, Terry & Wayne, Chris & Don, Kim & Don, and Michael & Brenda. Cherished by his aunts Barbie and Tammy. He will be forever adored, loved, and missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, friends and family.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Pearl; Uncle Al and Uncle Jim
Visitation is from 1-7pm (12-1 for family) on Sunday, December 8, 2024
Funeral service will be held 10am Monday, December 9, 2024,
at Herrmann Funeral Home 1005 East Grand River Avenue Fowlerville, Michigan 48836. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road Holy, Michigan 48442
