David was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Mills; parents, Charles and Katherine Mills; siblings, Edward Mills, Joyce McHaffie and Mary Cox; granddaughter, Megan Faulkner; two sons-in-law; and great-grandson, Kahne.
He is survived by his children, Pam Chesney, Teresa (Greg) McCann, Penny (Scott) Foust, David (Angi) Mills; grandchildren, Allison Wilson, Josh Wilson, Nick McCann, Shawn (Roseann) McCann, Brittany Faulkner, Brandon (Kylie) Mills, and Kalee (Kent) Noe; great-grandchildren, Karlei, Emma, Kahlan, Jordan, Anastasia, Sophia, Carter, Levi and Skylei; brothers Freddie (Dawn) Mills and Charles "Skeeter" (Bonnie) Mills; sisters Martha Cureton, Nadine McGhee, Eula (Melvin) Brown and Gladys (Pete) Sexton.
A special Thank You to Covenant Health Hospice Care and his amazing nurses, Kelly Bradley and Donna Humbard for their loving care of our father.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM - 7:00PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Bridges Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Darrall Walker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 AM on Friday at Indian Ridge Cemetery for a 12:00 PM Graveside Service.
Pallbearers: Karlei Hodge, Emma Hodge, Garrett Boring, Brandon Mills, Kent Noe and Josh Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers: Pete Sexton, Levi Mills and Brendan Williams.
