In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Milner, and his brother-in-law, Bill Ridgeway.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter, Kelli Bassett (Brandon Gravitt); brothers, Sidney Milner, Jr., Mitchel Milner (Carol), and Michael Milner (Cathy); sisters, Wanda Widner (Carl), Debra Ridgeway, Cheryl Scroggs, and Jacqueline Lewis (Terry); grandchildren, Levi Gravitt and Bubba Gravitt; many nieces and nephews; his canine companion, Indie; extended family and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Roper Heights Baptist Church. The family will gather at the church prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
