David “Alex” Minton, age 36, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, in Charleston, WV. His visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 12:30 until 1:15 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. His services will take place in our Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 PM. His burial will follow at Morton Memorial Gardens in Morton, MS. Bro. Mike Rougton will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Alex was born on October 22, 1987, to David Russell Minton and Brenda Bridget Weems in Jackson, MS. He was a person who never met a stranger and thoroughly enjoyed county life. Alex was a gun enthusiast and a baseball fanatic. He loved playing baseball with his boys, fishing, and shooting pool. Alex was a profound perfectionist in his job.
Alex was preceded in death by his Aunt Kim Dodd. He is survived by his wife, Whitney Minton; his parents, David and Brenda Minton; his four boys, Kolton Gage Minton, Samuel Alexander Minton, Noah Lane Minton and Carter Brooks Minton; and his brother, Nicholas Minton.
Pallbearers will be Chris Stafford, Brayden Stafford, Lance Gavin, Justin Weems and Matthew Weems.
