David Montague Obituary
He was born in Norwich, on July 2, 1951, a son of the late John and Fern (Tucker) Montague. He graduated from Norwich High School with the Class of 1970 and then attended SUNY Broome. David worked for 51 years for The Evening Sun in many capacities including film developing and in the press printing room. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking.
David is survived by his brother, John Montague, of North Syracuse; nephew, Joshua Montague; niece, Meagan Montague; and many friends and co-workers at the Evening Sun. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Elaine Montague, in 2019.
A graveside service for David will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
