But Jesus called the children to him and said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Luke 18:16
Our precious David gently went to His Creator on Thursday, January 29, surrounded and cradled in the love of his family. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact was immeasurable. David's medical challenges made everyday life a courageous journey. He never spoke a word, nor took a step - yet he spoke volumes through his beautiful eyes, his smile, his contagious laugh and his squeals of joy. His quiet strength was a living reminder that love needs no words, and joy can be found in the smallest of moments.
Doctors, nurses, neighbors, friends, and strangers alike were touched by his story, his journey and his precious heart. His light is now at home in Jesus. He is finally in his eternal resting place where he can see, he can run and he can understand how deeply he was loved.
When the chaos and stress of the world would get in - we all retreated to David's side. His silence and purity provided us with a peace and tranquility that was indescribable. He never did anything wrong his entire life. He never had one wrong thought. Even though he - in many ways - was fragile, he had a quiet strength that taught us patience, compassion, and the beauty of simply being present.
He is survived by his devoted parents, loving siblings, and a family who is thankful beyond measure for every moment with him. Though our arms ache with his absence - our hearts rejoice that he is home with God. Rest gently, sweet David. You were and always will be, our little miracle.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home located at 1014 E State St. in

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
