David Mossor Obituary
David Sydney Mossor, 87, of Marietta, passed away September 5, 2025 at Shrivers Hospice, in Marietta.
David was born April 29, 1938 in Pennsboro, WV to Darask Mossor and Mable {Nutter} Mossor.
David served in the United States Air Force.
He married Dorothy Becker on December 15, 1990.
David was a truck driver for 40 years. He loved walking, his cats, gossiping with his neighbors, and watching Ohio State Football.
David will be deeply missed by his children David (Carol) Mossor, Ronnie (Lisa) Mossor and Teresa Mossor LaSota (Dave); step-children David Eddy and Cindy (Fred) Arnold; grandchildren Stephen and Amanda Mossor, Shannon Santisteban, Kevin Mossor, Jennifer Mossor, Jessica Lightfritz, and Zachery Arnold; and nine great-grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Dorothy.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta 45750. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/David-Mossor). Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park, where military rights will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of the Ohio Valley at 90 Mt Tom Rd, Marietta, OH 45750.
