David Murillo Obituary
With deep sadness and profound love we announce that our beloved, David Joseph Murillo, took the hand of our Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born May 13, 1951 to Victoria Murillo and Mateo Murillo in San Antonio, Texas. David was a man of strong faith. He enjoyed to work, he loved to keep his yard nice and neat, cook, bbq, drink a nice cold one and make beautiful memories with his family. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Brother, Son, Neighbor and Friend. He touched the lives of all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his son Dwayne James Murillo. He leaves to cherish his beloved wife of 35 years, Mary Murillo. His two sons; David Joseph Murillo Jr. (MaryAnne) and Danny Murillo (Yvonne). Grandchildren; Miranda, David III, Melody, Amanda, Brianna, Victoria, Daniella, Destiny, Danny Jr. and Brittany. Great Grandchildren; Adelynn, Alyson, Richard Jr., David IV, Davina, Damian, EJ, Mark III, Elias III, Adrea, Lillie, and Athena. As well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
David Joseph Murillo leaves behind a legacy of hardwork, love and strength. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The following services will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Crematory & Memorial Park, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd, San Antonio, TX 78239 on Friday, July 25, 2025:
Memorial Gathering 10:00am-11:00am.
Memorial Service 11:00am-12:00pm.
Inurnment 12:00pm-12:30pm.
