David Edward Negron of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away from this life unexpectedly on October 7, 2022, at the age of 40. David was born in Sacramento, California, on October 6, 1982, the son of Jose Luis Negron and Jeanne Marie (Zipprich) Negron. He attended Norman North High School, graduating with the Class of 2002, and went on to attend Oklahoma City Community College. From the time he was a young man, David was a caretaker for his mother, who became disabled in 1994. He supplemented this role and helped support his parents by working at various places in the restaurant industry throughout the years including McDonald's, Arby's and Burger King. For the last several years, he had been employed full-time by his father.
David was a straight-shooter, and one of the most honest men you could ever meet. His unique personality and kind, giving heart earned him many friends and fans over the years, and he was very disciplined, often getting recognized by his employers for his outstanding work ethic. From the time he was a very young man, David was a student of nature. He loved to draw, and he was fascinated by extreme weather and storms. He often sketched tornadoes, and he enjoyed storm chasing any time he had the opportunity. He was a very conscientious young man who always recycled, and he loved being around small animals, and they, sensing his gentle nature, always gravitated toward him.
Most importantly, David valued family. His family meant everything to him, and his mother was ultimately his best friend. The pair loved visiting and discussing politics with each other, and they frequently enjoyed watching YouTube videos and movies together, with David especially enjoying the films Fargo and the 2012 political drama Game Change, both of which he watched countless times over the years. He was also a proud uncle who loved taking his niece and nephew trick-or-treating every Halloween. David's sweet, loving heart impacted the lives of many people during his brief time on Earth, and he will be dearly missed.
Left to treasure his memory are his parents, Jose and Jeanne Negron, one brother, Joseph Negron, and many other loving family members and friends.
