David Neumann

David Neumann of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, peacefully passed away in his sleep on December 15, 2025. Born on April 2, 1955, David lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and an open heart.

David worked as a sheet metal worker at Chapco, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his trade.

Outside of work, he had a deep passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and spending time doing the things he loved most. David was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

In the last few years of his life he enjoyed cheering on the Bears and the Yankees, spending time with his goddaughter whether that was on FaceTime or in person, sitting outside and soaking up the sunshine in his sunglasses, listening to rock music, and car drives.

David was predeceased by his parents, Walt and Alice Neumann; his brother, Pauley Neumann; and nephew, Christopher Neumann, who held a very special place in David's heart.

He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Klezka, and her husband, Bobby; his brother, Johnny Neumann; his beloved goddaughter, Meagan Pruitt, and her husband, Ethan; His cousin, Donna Grear, and her husband, Dean, who were as close to David as brother and sister. He also leaves behind many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom he loved with his whole heart.

David will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

The family wants to give a special thank you to those who cared for David after his stroke in the last 9 years- the doctors, nurses, and aids at Civita.

Services will be announced soon. We ask that when services do happen any attendees wear orange or black to honor David's love for Harley Davidson and the Bears.
