Forsyth Twp, MI- David D. Niemisto, age 31 of Forsyth Twp lost his battle with kidney failure on Monday, April 14, 2025.
David was born on July 26, 1993, the son of Dennis J. Niemisto and Tiffany R. Lindroos. He attended Ishpeming Public Schools.
David worked construction for many years, most recent was Seelen's Home Improvement, until his health failed. He enjoyed fishing, being out at camp in the Republic, and being with his family.
David is survived by his wife Olivia (Nurmela) who he married on August 30, 2024, children; Clayton Leader, Jane Leader, Adelynne Nurmela, Jaxon Niemisto and Willow Niemisto, parents; Dennis Niemisto and Tiffany Lindroos, grandparents; Dan & Rita Niemisto and Marilyn Sanders, sisters; Deserae (Zach) Heikkila, Dana (Nate) Oswald, Micheala Niemisto, brothers; Devin Niemisto and Matthew Niemisto, nephew Dean, niece DeLouise, Aunts and Uncles: Dannette (Brad) Perry, Tammy Oatley, Tania (Bill) Jones, cousins; Nicholas Taseris, Tyler Jones, Jordan Jones, Craig (Melisaa) Perry, Brandon Perry, father-in-law Dale Kozel, mother-in-law; Roberta Nurmela, sisters-in-law; Heidy and Britney Pelkola, grandmother-in-law; Mary Seppala and close friend Sierra Rzanca.
David was preceded in death by his grandfathers; John Lindroos, and Chuck Sanders, and great grandparents William and Jane Aho, Toivo and Betty Niemisto.
A Celebration of David's life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Tilden Township Hall 3145 Co. Rd. PG Ishpeming, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm with a potluck meal.
At David's request, wear bright colors, no black please.
Memorials may be directed to Rita Niemisto 950 Co. RD. PRF Ishpeming, MI 49849 for his children.
