David Northrip Obituary

age of 70. He was born on February 17, 1955 in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Jack and Velta
Northrip.
Father of four, David worked hard to support his family as a Machinist. Later in life, he
returned to school and earned his bachelor's degree in environmental science. David
was also active in his community, volunteering three days a week at Shawnee Rescue
Misson.
David is survived by his mother, Velta, two sisters, three children, and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jack, and son James.
A celebration of David's life will be held on June 9, 2025 at 2:00 pm, at First Moore Baptist
Church. Family and friends are invited to attend and remember the wonderful moments
and memories shared with him.
Flowers may be sent to First Moore Baptist Church, 301 NE 27th St., Moore, OK 73160.
In lieu of flowers, donations can also be made to the Shawnee Rescue Mission by going
