Nowakowski, David J.

Age 60, passed suddenly, surrounded by his family, on July 28, 2025.

David was the cherished husband to Lisa for 35 years. He was the loving father of Brittany (Franklin) Ford and Lindsey. Beloved "Papa" to Charlotte and Eleanor. Dear son to John and the late Geraldine. Survived by his siblings, Michael (Jan), Teri Shipley, Jackie (Chris) Babini, Tom (Mari), and John (Noelle). Also survived by his in-laws, Ed (Pat) Styburski, Sandy (late Patrick), Chene, and Patti (Gary) VanHoorne. He was an amazing uncle to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation on July 31, 2025 from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass on August 1, 2025 at St. Margaret of Scotland Church at 11am. Instate 10:30am.

Memorial Contributions to the Wishes of the Family are greatly appreciated.

Oh man !!!!...My heart is broken .
David,... You were a big brother to me.
Condolences from the Teddy Davis family.
I´m in shock.
God must of needed more good spirit and humor up there.
Rest in peace ,brother.

Dave was such a great guy! Loved playing cars with him and having a good time. He helped us with our electrical work on our first house in Madison Heights because we couldn´t afford to hire a contractor. Thoughts and prayers to the whole family!
