David L. Nuttall, of Valencia, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old.
Born on March 1, 1942, David was the beloved son of the late Agnes M. and William G. Nuttall. A proud 1960 graduate of Hampton High School, he went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966, stationed at Sandia Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Following his military service, David built a career as a skilled union carpet installer and a proud member of Local 1759. Known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship, he took pride in every job and was respected by those who worked alongside him.
David found joy in life's simple pleasures-cutting grass on a sunny day, sharing a cold beer, cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers, and, above all, spending time with his family. His easygoing nature, sense of humor, and deep love for those close to him made him a constant source of warmth and strength.
He is survived by his sons, David Eric (Muriel) and Michael M. (Jennifer), and his five beloved grandchildren: Daniel, Andrew, Sarah, Jacob, and Aubrey. His family was his greatest pride, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Survived also by his sister, Margaret Roseanne Nuttall Ramsey (Robert) of WV.
David's legacy is one of love, laughter, hard work, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor David's memory by enjoying the little things in life-just as he did. Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA, and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
