David James Olson

David James Olson, 70, of Atchison, KS, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, at his home. Cremation care has been selected under the directions of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. David was born November 25, 1955, in Everest, KS, the son of Arthur and Ruth May (Ditzler) Olson. He graduated from Horton High School and then served in the United State Army. David worked for Fargo for twelve years in wire assembly. He enjoyed woodworking, making birdhouses, collecting antiques, fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting and reading. David married June Spinner on December 7, 2020. She survives of the home. He is also survived by two daughters Jennifer Smith and Tamara (Paul) Cameren of OK, two brothers, Harold (Terri) Olson, Atchison, KS, Hank (Kristi) Olson, Atchison, KS, two sisters, Selma Key, Effingham, KS, Kathy (Jeff) Jackson, Effingham, KS, a sister in law, Leeann Olson, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents Arthur and Ruth May Olson, and a brother, John Olson,
