David Pelcer Obituary

David was the captain and record holder of his high school swim team at Troy Athens. He was an avid skier and loved spending time up north at Sugar Loaf with his family. He was a successful manufacturing manager for 30 plus years in the automotive parts industry. He thoroughly enjoyed coaching his sons soccer for 10 years and never missed a daddy daughter dance with his girls. He had a huge love for woodworking, playing cribbage, and all Detroit sports teams, especially the Lions. Top fan of the show M.A.S.H. and a wide range of music and movie genres. Food was a passion for him and always loved the traditional family recipes. Family gatherings were so important to him. His wife Kathy can't sum up their deep love for each other and the wonderful decades of life together in just a sentence. David's loving, caring, and funny personality will be so very missed by all who loved him.
A memorial mass will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 - 11 a.m. with in-state at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd., Lake Orion.
Arrangements by Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Rd., Orion. Online tributes may be shared at www.modetzfuneralhomes.com.
