He was born in Moore County on October 13, 1969 to the late Jerry Franklin Perrell and Nancy Coggins Perrell. David graduated from Lee County High School, Class of 1988 and owned and operated Perrell Landscaping for many years before becoming a truck driver for Wilson Brothers Trucking Company. His colleagues share many memories of a joyful individual and a great friend. When David was not working, he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his son Devin Perrell of Greensboro; daughter Brooke Perrell and husband Hunter Cole of Raleigh; brother Donald Lynn Perrell and wife Wendy of Sanford and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Sandy Branch Baptist Church (715 Sandy Branch Church Road, Bear Creek, NC 27207) on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
