David Mark Piaskowski, 65, Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away in the hospital on October 24th, 2024 surrounded by his family and good friend Wade by his side.
Dave will always be remembered dearly for his fun loving nature and infectious laugh.
His love of music led him to play bass guitar and he played guitar in a local band for many years. He also had a love of cats and had quite a few in his life with Umbra being his last companion and passing a year or so before him. That cat spent like 25 years with Dave. He also worked on electronics for a big part of his life, which he had gone to school for. Dave also had loved to play golf in his earlier years.
Born on May 5th, 1959 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was not only the youngest of 5 children born to Cyril and Helen (Matiash) Piaskowski, who preceded him in death, but was the youngest grandchild of Ben and Julia(Gerczak) Piaskowski.
Dave is survived by his two brothers and their wives Bob (Lois) and Don (Annette) Piaskowski and his two sisters and their husbands Kathy (Dave) Frost and Deb (Jerry) James along with many nieces an nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Although Dave is no longer with us, his fun loving nature and infectious laugh will live on.
Dave was a big advocate for animals. In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in Dave's name.
The family would also like to thank the nurses and doctors at St. Vincent hospital for their loving care in Dave’s final days.
