David Pommer Obituary
Dave was born October 11, 1946, in Perry, Iowa, to Claude and Ada (Cornelison) Pommer. He married Sue Loring on September 13, 1986, at First United Methodist Church in Des Moines and they made their home in Clive.
Dave started his career as a draftsman with Iowa Power and Light. After holding various positions in his 48 year career, he retired as a transmission line operator in 2017.
Dave loved to play golf and loved his Corvette.
Dave is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue Loring-Pommer, his son, Michael Todd Pommer of Madrid, Iowa, his sister-in-law, Ellen (Steve) Arnell of Hamilton, IL, his brother-in-law, Gary Loring of Miami, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eternity Church. Online condolences will be welcomed at IlesCares.com.
