David “Poodle” L. Williams, 67 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospital on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
David was born on January 3, 1958, in Charleston, West Virginia. He is the son of the late John A. and Myrtle (Hubbard) Williams. David proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he worked as a diesel mechanic. He was a humble and down-to-earth man who found peace and enjoyment spending time out in his garage.
David is survived by his children, Joshua Williams, Steven Williams, Angela Williams, Jamie Cooper-Bailey, Aime Bias, and Sean Tai Flint; his many grandchildren; his one great-grandson; his siblings, Gary (Janice) Williams, Eddie (Terry) Williams, Jane Walker, Teresa Williams, and Julie (Charles) Buzzard; his close friend, Kenny Reigle; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sister, Penny Olson, Sherry (Ricky) Bowman, Jeff Williams, Susie Williams, John Williams, and William Williams.
In keeping with David’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Williams family.
