Dave and I and a few others went to SE Iowa to go geode hunting. We found a lot! Driving home you could feel the weight of geodes in the back. When home we proceeded to break them open. Dave would do the breaking. We had so much fun. Dave was like a little kid finding the perfect rocks. I will miss his laughter and his kind and caring heart . My deepest condolences to Dave's family. He will be greatly missed.
