David Puckett Obituary
Benson, NC: Mr. David Puckett, age 76, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM, Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Benson NC. Mr. Steve Southers will officiate.
Mr. Puckett was born on February 28, 1947 in Harnett County, NC, to the late Edward Worth and Ruth Byrd Puckett. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Carl Puckett and a sister, Josephine Stanley. Mr. Puckett was a retired electrical lineman. David was a hardworking man, who loved his job working storm breaks and he also loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marsha Purifoy Puckett; daughters, Lisa Puckett of Benson and Janet Carr of Newton Grove; brother, Donald Puckett and wife, Vonya of Benson; grandchildren, James Douglas Puckett and Alyssa Reagan Swem; great grandchildren, Johnathon, Sabastian and James; step great granddaughter, Faith.
The family will receive friends 1:30PM – 2:45PM, Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
