David Rayn Queen, 65, passed away on September 28, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

He was born on January 2, 1957 in Gastonia, North Carolina to the late Louis and Lula Davis.

David enjoyed visiting the lake and being on the water. He loved cars and recently restored a 1936 Ford truck. David was a fan of football, especially Alabama and the Cowboys. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. He loved all animals and spoiled his dogs. David leaves many happy memories to be cherished by his family.

David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Viki Queen; daughters, Journey Queen and Somer Delsignore (John); son, Bryan Kuykendoll; brothers, Wayne Queen (Angela) and Matt Queen (Leslie); sister, Scheffney Sides; and his grandchildren, Chip, Colton, Graysen, Noah, Austin, and Khloe.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday October 1, 2022 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. an hour prior to the service.
