David Ramírez Salgado, de 53 años, de La Porte, IN, falleció el 10 de noviembre de 2025 en I.U. Hospital Universitario de Salud.
David nació el 29 de diciembre de 1971 en Chiquimitio, Morelia, Michoacán, México, hijo de José Reyes Ramírez Rodríguez y María Elena Salgado Méndez.
El 30 de diciembre de 1995, en Chiquimitio, Morelia, Michoacán, México, se casó con Angélica Ramírez, quien sobrevive. También sobreviven sus cinco hijos, Kimberly Ramirez de La Porte, Stephanie Ramirez de La Porte, David Ramirez de Lubbock, TX, Edgar Ramirez de La Porte y Joselinn Ramirez de La Porte; 3 nietos, Esaías, Ariella y Alejandro Ramírez; 7 hermanos, Roberto Ramírez Salgado, Marcos Antonio Ramírez Salgado, Adela Ramírez Salgado, María Elena Ramírez Salgado, Yolanda Ramírez Salgado, Mayrene Ramírez Salgado y Araceli Ramírez Salgado; Sus cuñadas, Aqua Lyn Kopf y Corrin Garcia; así como numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.
Le precedió en la muerte su padre.
David trabajaba como fabricante de núcleos en Hiler Industries. Era miembro de la parroquia de la Sagrada Familia en La Porte. David era muy hábil y se esforzaba al máximo en todo lo que hacía. Disfrutaba de la jardinería, la caza, la pesca y pasar tiempo con su familia. David será recordado con cariño por su humor y sus bromas.
La misa de funeral se celebrará a las 11:00 h del sábado 15 de noviembre de 2025 en la iglesia Reina de Todos los Santos de Michigan City. El entierro tendrá lugar a continuación en el cementerio Pine Lake.
El velatorio será de 4 a 8 h del viernes 14 de noviembre de 2025 en la funeraria Cutler y crematorio, y de 10:00 h hasta el inicio de la misa el sábado en la iglesia Reina de Todos los Santos de Michigan City.

David Ramirez Salgado, 53, of La Porte, IN, passed away on November 10, 2025, at I.U. Health University Hospital.
David was born on December 29, 1971, in Chiquimitio, Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico to Jose Reyes Ramirez Rodriguez and Maria Elena Salgado Mendez.
On December 30, 1995, in Chiquimitio, Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, he married Angelica Ramirez who survives. Also surviving are his 5 children, Kimberly Ramirez of La Porte, Stephanie Ramirez of La Porte, David Ramirez of Lubbock, TX, Edgar Ramirez of La Porte, and Joselinn Ramirez of La Porte; 3 grandchildren, Esaias, Ariella, and Alejandro Ramirez; 7 siblings, Roberto Ramirez Salgado, Marcos Antonio Ramirez Salgado, Adela Ramirez Salgado, Maria Elena Ramirez Salgado, Yolanda Ramirez Salgado, Mayrene Ramirez Salgado, and Araceli Ramirez Salgado; sisters-in-law, Aqua Lyn Kopf and Corrin Garcia; well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
David worked as a core maker at Hiler Industries. He was a member of the Holy Family Parish, La Porte. David was a handyman and worked hard at all that he did. He enjoyed landscaping, hunting, fishing and spending with his family. David will be fondly remembered for his humor and being a jokester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Queen of All Saints, Michigan City. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte.
A time of visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 a.m. until the start of the service on Saturday at Queen of All Saints, Michigan City.
