David Rapp Obituary
He was predeceased by his parents, Earl Lamoine Rapp and Shirley (Bradley) Rapp. David will be lovingly remembered by his children, Ashley Miller (Dave), Elijah Rapp, and Kristin Ellefritz (Robbie); and his grandchildren, Isla Rose Miller, Malachi Rapp, Gavin Jansen, Sidney Seckman, Jaxon Ellefritz, and Laaken Ellefritz-each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
He is also survived by his sisters Karyn Buxman Godek and Susan Rapp, and his brother John Rapp; nieces Gisella Rapp-Defriese and Lupe Rapp-Defriese; and nephews Moises Rapp-Defriese, Victor Rapp-Defriese, David Buxman, and Adam Buxman.
A Hannibal High School graduate (1976) and University of Missouri alum, David became a skilled electrician, spending many years at American Cyanamid and McDonnell Douglas/Boeing.
He found joy in music, laughter, and cheering on his St. Louis Cardinals. Those who knew him will remember his gentle humor, generous heart, and steady presence.
A memorial will be held at a later date. Donations to FeedingAmerica.org are encouraged in his memory.
