David Alexander Ray

David A. Ray, 38, of Warwick, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of David C. and Christine M. (Murphy) Ray, the loving father of Gunnar and Soren Ray, and brother of Jacob Ray. He is also survived by his Memé, Lee Nicholson, his Pepé, Mitch Snyder and former spouse, Jaylene O'Donnell.
He was a graduate of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School and later self-employed as a general contractor and worked in the construction trades where he took great pride in his work.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hiking. His greatest joy was being with his boys and sharing his knowledge with them. He will be remembered for the deep love he held for his family and friends.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 9am-12pm with a Funeral Service at 12 in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Park Foundation, Attn: Gift Processing, P.O. Box 17394, Baltimore, MD 21298-9450 are greatly appreciated. In honor and memory of David, the family requests that all individuals make it a priority to schedule an annual physical.
