David Bernard Ross, 73 of Hollywood, MD passed away on October 10, 2024 at home.
He was born on April 15, 1951 in Washington, DC to the late John Wellington Ross and Sophie Mioduszewski.
David grew up in Washington DC College Park, Maryland. He graduated from Arrhbishop Carroll High School in 1968. He married Carol (Davidson) Ross on October 28, 1989 in Norristown, PA. He was an HVAC Engineer for the Steamfitter's Union #602. He was a life member of the VFW. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Kae Myers and Laura Ann Myers; sister, Marion Lee Sphar; grandchildren, Ricky Myers, Zack Myers, Katie Dreher, Jeffrey Myers; great grandchildren, Rylie, Ricky Jr., Zelda, Jeffrey Jr., Oakleigh, Stella. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Peter Ross.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Deacon Ammon Ripple. Interment will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
