David John Rothermel Sr.

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of David J. Rothermel Sr., age 58, of West Palm Beach, Florida, on April 27, 2025. David was born on January 13, 1967, in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Herbert and Marie (Giarrusso) Rothermel. He was preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Kenneth Rothermel, Cheryl Gieger, and Carlo Rothermel.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Ann Marie; his children, David Rothermel Jr., Elysia Champagne (Arthur), Andrew Rothermel, and Ashley Martinez (Jose); as well as his cherished grandchildren, Annabelle, River, Hali, Jiovanni and Alayna. David is also survived by his brothers, Herbert Rothermel Jr.
(Mercedes), George Rothermel (Lisa), Robert Rothermel (Fran),James Rothermel (Dawn), his nephew Kenneth Rothermel Jr., who resided with him and a large extended family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
David was employed by Trio Development Corporation, whom he considered his extended family.
David was the epitome of kindness and selflessness, always willing to lend a hand or an ear to anyone in need. His generosity knew no bounds, and he consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to helping others. David took great pride in everything he did, whether it was in his work or his personal life. He had a rare and remarkable talent for working with his hands, finding joy and fulfillment in every project, no matter the size.
His warmth, integrity, and unshakable work ethic will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A private service will be held, with a celebration of life to take place at a later date, where friends and family will come together to honor and remember David's remarkable life.
