David Rotter Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Born in New York City, NY, to Michael and Esther (née Steinlauf) Rotter, he later resided in New Jersey.
David received his PhD in Molecular Genetics at Rutgers University.
David is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Rotter.
Surviving are his wife and son, his parents, and his brother, Jonathan.
Dave was loved by so many and will be missed forever. His greatest talent was making anyone he met collapse in fits of laughter. His own laughter was simply contagious and his smile infectious.
Even though he isn't here on earth, he will always be with us, carried in our hearts and memories.
A chapel service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11:45am, at MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick, NJ. For directions, please view our "Events" listed below.

David and I attended graduate school together. He was such a great guy. I am very sorry to hear this news. I send thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. RIP, David.

He was hilarious indeed, and just a really genuinely good person in school our friendship carried over to our Rutgers years, and of course the ladies loved those Rotter boys! A few of my friend had crushes on one or the other. This hurts my heart. Rest in power, love and light.
