Dave and my brother initiated a co-worker friendship that grew throughout the years. I myself knew Dave, his dedicated work with veterans, sense of humor, exercise routine, etc. He will be sorely missed, but has a place in heaven.

Mary Lynn and family, I'm so sorry for the loss of Dave. I always felt he was a good man, straight shooter, always ready to listen and flash that caring smile. I hope that, in time, wonderful memories will balance out the sadness that his passing is now enveloping you. Peace to him and all who love him.

To the Rupert Family,
You are in our prayers and have our deepest sympathy as you mourn Dave's passing. May God comfort you with the warm memories of the lives you shared with him. He left his mark as a good and courageous man who was devoted to his family, a loyal friend and helped many people as a juvenile probation officer and veteran's counsellor. He will be sadly missed.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Dave and I attended Academy High we met again in a barbershop in Phu Bai , Vietnam in January 1967 serving in the same battalion but adjoining companies. I will remember Dave as friend who helped me though tough times and the experience we shared good and bad. Rest well you will be missed!
