David Lee Russell

David Lee Russell age 53, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday evening, September 24, 2025, in Pontotoc, Mississippi. David was born on September 11, 1972, in Eupora, Mississippi to Robert Lee Russell and Betty Ann Mixon Russell. He was a former employee of Toyota. David is survived by two sons, D.J. Russell and Brent Russell of Starkville, Mississippi; three brothers, Wayne (Nikki) Russell of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Jimmy Russell of Saltillo, Mississippi and Hugh (Paula) Schaefer of Cumberland, Mississippi and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by both his parents, Robert Lee Russell and Betty Ann Mixon Russell; one sister, Betty Carol Schaefer and one brother, Billy Russell. Funeral Services for Mr. David will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. Interment will follow at Montivesta Baptist Church Cemetery in Webster County, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Montivesta Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 2:00PM until time for services at 3:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora. Rev. Kenny Childers will officiate the services. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements.
