David Rutledge Obituary
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
David is survived by his children Denise Bittner and husband Mike of Loxley Alabama, Amy Rutledge of Princeton North Carolina, Christy Baker and husband Craig of Princeton North Carolina, Tracy Riggs and husband Junior of Fremont North Carolina and Aunt Inez Martin of New Hope Alabama and cousins.
David retired from his business of New Hope body shop in New Hope Alabama where He restored classic cars and won many awards at car shows for his work. He's also worked at various body shops in the Goldsboro area. David love NASCAR and attended many races.
He adored his grandchildren David Bittner and wife Michelle, Tyler Baker and wife Brittany, Brittany Baker and wife Lauren Honeycutt, Jillian Wiggs, Logan Wiggs, Trinity Camacho, Michael Riggs and wife Jessica, Caroline Ardis and husband Matt, Natalie Howington and husband Cuyler.
Preceded in death by his brother Travis Rutledge and Grandson Brandon Baker
Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.

Sorry to hear of the passing of David. We were friends when I was stationed in the Air Force in 1966-1970. We went to church together and fished slot together.
