David RyLee Duncan Lindsey, age 17, of Henderson, KY, went to sleep Thursday night and woke up in the arms of Jesus on Friday, July 26, 2024.
RyLee enjoyed fast cars, loud music, and four-wheeler riding. He loved to eat good food and try new things. Most of all, Rylee loved spending time with the people he loved and his dog Fendi.
RyLee was preceded in death by his uncle Jamal, great-grandmother Martha Moore, and his baby sister Davionna.
RyLee is survived by his mother Meribeth Duncan (Travis Smith) of Henderson KY; father David Lindsey of Henderson, KY; maternal grandparents: John M. Duncan (Dana) of Henderson, KY, Lacey Parsley- Keaton of Morehead, KY, and Felicia Carter of Louisville, KY; paternal grandparents: Michael Higgins of Kansas City, MO, Victoria Smith of Henderson, KY, and Latrice Lawson of Henderson, KY; sisters: Chloe, Cyntoria, Miriyah, Amina, and Amani; brothers: Kaedon, Cassius, and Taleveron; nephew Lennex; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to RyLee's Life Celebration from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 1:00 p.m. until the service time on Thursday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the funeral home with Dominick Dixon Tamika Lewis, and Kirk Haynes speaking.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Henderson County Humane Society, 203 Drury Lane, Henderson, KY, 42420.
