David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Annie Sanchez Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 45 years, Debbie Sanchez; his four children: David Sanchez (Patty), James Wilson (JoAnne), Salina McCummings (Marven), and Rob Wilson (Nina); and his twelve grandchildren: Aleah, Breanna, Yezinia, Michael, Daniel, Andreia, Dashawn, Dante, Trayvon, Tyriq, Kavan, and Landan. He is also survived by his two great-granddaughters, Kaylynn and Iris; his beloved dogs, Toby and Andy; along with many well-loved family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in David's memory.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Princess Anne Chapel, located at 3445 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
