David Lynn Sanders, 64, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away Monday night, September 15, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family and God.
David was born, January 5, 1961, to Larry Sanders and Joann (Petty) Sanders in Bartlesville. He was lifelong Bartlesville resident and a graduate of Bartlesville High School. David was of the Christian faith. He was a video game enthusiast and an excellent Dungeon Master for D&D. David enjoyed trips to the casino with his friends, Richard and Robert and his other two sisters, Danna & Sue, frequent gambling buddies. He had long and rewarding career as a security guard.
David is survived by his siblings, Danna Harris, Scott Sanders and Terry Sanders; by five nephews and nieces, Jeremy Harris, Josh Harris, Travis Harris, Amber “Dondi” Sanders and Tyler Sanders; as well as fourteen great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Onie & Dora Sanders; by parents, Joann & Larry Sanders; and a great-nephew, Zach Barnes, and Sue Pyle-Sanders, mother.
A memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the chapel of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Hardy officiating.
