David Scheppan

David C. Scheppan, age 72 of Fairborn passed away February 1, 2025. He was born November 12, 1952 in Canton, the son of the late Robert G. and Doris E. (Gage) Scheppan. He graduated from Glenwood High School in 1971 and Park University with a Bachelor’s degree. David served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Chief Mast Sergeant after 22 years of dedicated service. He spent many years in marketing and the transportation field. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie; brother, Kenneth Scheppan and son-in-law, Matthew Mann. David is survived by two daughters, Sara Schultz, Jamie Mann; two grandchildren, Landen and Titus Mann; brother, Robert (Christy) Scheppan, sister-in-law, Susan Scheppan; two nephews, Scott and Kyle; as well as extended family and friends. A private service will be held by the family.
