David Henry Schriefer
December 16, 1939 - July 24, 2024
David H. Schriefer, 84, of Odon, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Prairie Village in Washington.
Born December 16, 1939, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of Wallace and Malissa Schriefer.
David was a truck driver in Winchester, Indiana, and worked on various farmers in Southern Indiana.
He enjoyed attending races at Eldora Speedway and Winchester Raceway.
David was a member of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church and served in the Army National Guard.
Surviving are his daughter, Christy Schriefer; step-daughters, Stacy (Aharon) Weidner and Kim (John) Paloma; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one niece, Angie Stacey; and one nephew, Billy Stacey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kolleen Stacey.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Montgomery, with Pastor J.R. Knepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Mennonite Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the service hour on Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care, Shoals.
