David Vernardo Silva

David V. Silva of Lakeville, MN, passed away on Monday July 28th, 2025.
He was born October 25th, 1974, in Yuba City, CA, to Ricardo Silva and Victoria Wees. David married Heather [Lagoon] Silva on August 24th, 1997, in a small ceremony in Minnesota surrounded by family and friends. Their love story began with meeting in drivers' ed, and they spent the next thirty years building beautiful memories together. Including the births of their daughter (Alyssa), son (Austin) and grandson (Diego).
Dave worked in asphalt paving for thirty years, most recently as a Foreman at McNamara in Rosemount MN. Through his continued dedication and hard work, he demonstrated his strong work ethic and his pride in caring and providing for his family.
David loved to travel, always seeking new and exciting destinations, which usually included somewhere with the ocean nearby. When he wasn't traveling, he loved being surrounded by family and friends and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Remaining to cherish David's memory are his wife, Heather; children Alyssa (Calvin), and Austin; grandchildren, Tyson & Deigo; parents, Ricardo (Mago), Victoria; brothers, Eric, Adam (Martha), Ricky; sister, Vanessa; a loving extended family, and many life-long friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, MN, on Thursday, August 7, 4-8 pm.
