David Lee "Doodle" Singleton, age 53, of Drasco, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 in Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born November 20, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee to Henry Edward Singleton and the late Charlotte Eloise Sims Singleton.
Doodle was a Spirit-Filled child of God who had a huge heart for people involved in the recovery ministry for substance abuse. He was a free spirit, an avid motorcycle rider. He was not only a biker, but a hunter and a fisherman as well. He was a good friend, and a great brother who had a great sense of humor. He had so many brothers from his ministry and biker clubs. He never met a stranger. He was a loving and devoted husband who loved his wife with all of his heart. He loved spending time with his wife, his family and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Singleton; grandparents, Pauline Free, Harris Singleton, and Marie Singleton; Sister in Law, Michelle Singleton; Step-Father, Leslie Cook, and Step-Sister, Teresa Cook.
Doodle is survived by his wife, Johnna Singleton of Drasco, Arkansas; three sons, Dylan Shelley (Tiffany) of Newport, Arkansas, Brenton Shelley (Nicole) of Conway, Arkansas, and Hans Skaten of Drasco, Arkansas; three daughters, Olivia Grace Beasley (Brent) of Gordo, Alabama, Charlotte Elaine Singleton of Vilonia, Arkansas, and Khloe Jane Harlan of El Paso, Arkansas; his father, Henry Edward Singleton of Franklin, Tennessee; brother, Donald Singleton of York South Carolina; step brother, Harold Cook of Memphis, Tennessee; half-sister, Sara Singleton of Franklin, Tennessee; grand daughter, Aspyn Lee; two nephews, Case and Abishai; one niece, Joy; and many extended family members and wonderful friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Macedonia General Baptist Church with Bro. Samuel Wildmon.
