David Somers Obituary

Dave, born November 1, 1961, in Newark, OH, was the son of Joseph and Kathryn Somers of Nashport, OH. He was a 1981 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding his motorcycles, going to the races and his dogs. He loved hanging out with friends and family.
He is survived by his three daughters: Tia (John) Mast of Layland, Kathryn Somers (Marcus Shaw) of West Lafayette and Sara Somers (Alex Staley) of Big Prairie, grandchildren: Brendon Kandel, Blythe, Deveraux and Harmony Mast, Rayne and Rozlyn Cronin, Rylee Shaw and Ellerie Staley, his father, Joseph Somers, siblings: Debra (Randy) Reasoner, Joseph (Kristi) Somers, Joyce (William) Perry and Dennis Somers, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Somers and grandmother, Virginia Bush Willis, who were both very special to him, and a step-daughter, Katie Lynn Christensen.
He will be dearly missed by his lifelong friends: George and Robert Conrad and cousin Jack Roberts and mothers of his children: Connie (Conrad) Williams and Lori (Christensen) Dunbar.
There will be no public services held. A small family celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
