David Walton Steward, 88, passed away on August 6, 2025. He was born on December 18, 1936 to the late Earl and Helen (Vorhis) Steward in Monroe, Ohio. David spent 42 years working as a machinist for Black Clawson. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. David is survived by his sons, David (Mary) and Doug (Amy) Steward; grandchildren Sarah, Jennifer, Robert, Madison, Troy, and Callie; and a brother, James Steward. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Faye Steward; a brother, Harold Steward; and sisters Doris Shinkle and Shirley Nickell. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to Ohio's Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties in David's name. Online condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at bakerstevensparramore.com
