David Stoner Obituary
Mr. Stoner graduated from Stanford University School of Engineering and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. He was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He served as a pilot in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1972. During the Vietnam War, he was a F-4 fighter pilot who flew night combat missions from May
1968 to January 1969, earning multiple honors including Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Star. He was honorably discharged in 1972.
Following his military service, Mr. Stoner built a career in the software industry, where he was instrumental in creating companies that developed manufacturing software.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diane Stoner; his son & his wife, Michael & Ann of Menlo Park, California; and three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Julia and Nick.
Services will be private.
