David Kenneth Stripling, 58, of Moultrie, passed away at Archbold Medical Center on Monday, November 4, 2024.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 8, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Shana Murphy, Dustan Stripling, Emily Kate Stripling, Andrew Kistler, and Leah Braswell will speak.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Born on June 1, 1966, in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Robert Louie Stripling and Nell Cone Stripling. Mr. Stripling worked at Trawick as a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Stripling is survived by his wife, Tammy Lynn Stripling of Moultrie; son, Dustan Stripling; daughters, Kaylyn Stripling Smith and husband Dylon of Camilla, Railey Stripling of Augusta, and Emily Kate Stripling of Waynesboro; bonus daughters, Shana Murphy and husband Lance of Moultrie, Javan Gay of Moultrie, and Leah Braswell and husband Sonny of Moultrie; grandchildren, Eli Gay, Kam Gay, Emy Gay, Dru McLeod, Viv Braswell, Miles Murphy, Mims Murphy, Hadley Smith, and Tate Smith; siblings, Carolyn Nettleton, Elaine Jacobson, Robert Louie Stripling, Jr., Guy Stripling and wife Carol, Steve Stripling and wife Debra, Kathy Stripling, Robin Kistler and husband Andy, and Danny Stripling and wife Tina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sha Missons.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
