David Suttles Obituary
David was born and raised in Jersey City and always reminisced about his days attending shows at Roosevelt Stadium and playing softball for Bill's Lounge.
In 1984 he married Carol Ann Corso and they bought a home in Union Beach where they raised their two Daughters Allison and Jennifer.
David retired in 2022 from Axis Chevrolet of Jersey City after a 45 year career as an Auto Technician. In that time he became an ASE Certified Master Technician and achieved General Motors World-Class Status.
In retirement he enjoyed traveling and sitting on his front porch and was proud that he was able to rebuild his home after Superstorm Sandy.
He was a frequent patron of Perkins for breakfast and enjoyed live music and Sunday football at Dowlings in Union Beach.
He made many new friends by talking about sports, especially if it involved the Yankees, Giants or Rangers.
He is predeceased by his Mother Elizabeth (Elmo) Suttles and Father John Suttles Sr.
David is survived by his beloved Wife Carol Ann Suttles; his loving Children Jennifer and Allison Suttles of Union Beach; his Brothers John Suttles Jr. and his Wife Mary Anne of Manchester and Donald Suttles and his Wife Rochelle of Elma, Washington; his Dog Oreo, and his Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
A memorial visitation will be held for David on Saturday March 8, 2025 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 from 10AM to 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family of David asks that you please make a memorial contribution in his honor to the Emergency Medical Service of Union Beach.
