Sutton, David Alan
December 13, 1948 – February 16, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of David Alan Sutton of Dickson, TN on Sunday 02/16/25.
He will be greatly missed by so many including his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy, sons Dave (Angie), Joe, Andy (Jennifer), grandchildren Chelsey (Caleb), Trey (Miranda), Liam, Blake, Drew, Katie, and Jossie, brother Edwin (Patsi) and many more relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by parents Ben and Sadie Sutton. Davids' love and passion for his family, friends, and the outdoors was second only to his faith and devotion to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He proudly owned and operated a successful home improvement business (Dasco) for over 30 years. His smile and personality could light up any room and his quick wit brought joy to all that knew him.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held for David at West Meade Fellowship church in Bellevue on Saturday, February 22. Visitation will be from 10AM to noon with a celebration of life service starting at noon.
Arrangements in the care of Compassion Funeral & Cremation Services, 6949 Charlotte Pike, Suite 104 (615) 857-9955. We are proud to be West Nashville & Bellevue's only locally owned and operated burial & cremation services.

Many times were special around David. From high school and beyond, every time we crossed paths again and again through the years he would take time to reflect on what was new, what has happened, ect. A truly great friend. I will miss his great laughter. Johnny Johnny
